The Nutcracker

Ballet

Each December, CM Dance performs a full-length version of the Nutcracker Ballet featuring multiple styles of dance as Clara and her Nutcracker friend venture through the Land of Sweets.

Auditions are held each September for dancers between the ages of 5 & 18 years of age (dancers under the age of 5 years old can perform in the Nutcracker, but these roles are by invitation only).

• Dancers may be casted in one or multiple roles depending on age, ability, and number of dancers needed for each dance.
• Audition fees are non-refundable and are due on the day of auditions. Currently the fees are as follows:
• Non-lead roles: $75
• Lead roles: $100
• A performance contract is also required to be signed on the day of auditions that details the commitment required (Saturday and/or Sunday rehearsals).

The 2024 Nutcracker Ballet will be performed on:

• There will be a mandatory dress rehearsal on Friday December 20, 2024 at Fredericksburg Academy.
