Notes and Updates

Ballet Dress Code Updates:

Leotard colors have been assigned to all ballet classes and will continue in future seasons. This decision was fully supported by all ballet teachers, as the use of designated colors helps create a stronger sense of unity within our program.

• Tiny Tots, Ballet/ Jazz and Ballet/Tap – Pink or Black leotards (plain, no patterns/designs)
• Pre-Ballet and Primary Ballet – Pink or Black leotards
• Minis/Petites Company Ballet – Black leotards

BALLET PROGRAM LEVELS

• Ballet I – Yellow or Black leotards
• Ballet II – Lavender or Black leotards
• Ballet III – Light Blue or Black leotards
• Ballet IV – Red or Black leotards

Class Placement & Requirements:

• Most dancers remain at their level for at least two years—please keep this in mind when enrolling.
• Be sure to review all prerequisites, especially for Acro classes.
• Lyrical classes require concurrent enrollment in a ballet class.

Assessments & Adjustments:

Ballet assessments will be emailed before the end of April for our current Ballet Program dancers. If a level change is needed after enrollment, we will update your dancer’s placement.

Note: If your dancer is interested in auditioning for the competition team, please register for classes as usual. Any necessary adjustments will be made following auditions.
