Another amazing weekend of awards at our second whole team competition!
Our whole team competed at Breakout Dance Competition, which was 30 performances in total! Our team members received several special awards from the judge's and we also had several team numbers and soloists place in the overall awards for their age and competitive levels!
Platinum:
- Pretty Bird (Tabitha): received the Judge's Choice Award for "Superb Star Quality," and 7th Place Overall in the Up & Coming Age 7-9 Solos
- Big Time (Kaya): received 1st in the Up & Coming Age 7-9 Jazz Solo division, 2nd Place Overall in the Up & Coming Age 7-9 Solos, and also receive the Outstanding Solo award for Entertainment
- Clearly (Charlie): 5th place overall for Up & Coming Age 7-9 Solos
- Waving Through a Window (Tap Team): 5th Place Overall for Up & Coming Age 13-15 Small Groups
High Gold:
- Leave a Light On (Blythe & Delaney): received the Judge's Choice Award for "Perfect Pair"
- Tribe (Aria): 9th place overall for Up & Coming Age 10-12 Solos
- Bring'Em Out (Charlie & Kaya): 4th Place Overall in the Up & Coming Age 7-9 Duo/Trios
- Do it Like This (Charlie & Tabitha): 7th Place Overall in the Up & Coming Age 7-9 Duo/Trios

Last weekend, our CM Collective Team traveled to NYC! These dancers had the amazing experience of dancing with Project Dance NYC... which means they got to dance IN Times Square! What a special memory for these dancers to have! Throughout the weekend, our CM Collective dancers joined dozens of other dancers in learning choreography, performing in Times Square, and even taking master classes at Ballet Hispanico. Through this experience of a lifetime, these dancers made new friends, learned valuable skills and technique to add to their repertoire, and showcased a few elements of their 2025-2026 Production: Once Upon a Screen right in the middle of Times Square! We are so proud of our CM Collective, who took their skills to the Big Apple during their inaugural season - we can't wait to see what's next!
Our CM Dance Company took the stage at NexStar on 4/18/26 and 4/19/26, and they absolutely SHINED up on that stage!! A few of our company dancers took their solos and a duo, which have been cleaned and polished all season, and SHOWED UP last weekend! We are SO proud of your hard work, and we can't wait to see the great things you accomplish the remainder of the season and beyond!

This past weekend, our CM Dance Company attended their very first competition of the season: Showstoppers! Competing some of our amazing solos and duos, our team absolutely crushed it (or, as we like to also say, they ate and left no crumbs)! Below you will find the adjudication results for those who competed. We are so very proud of every dancer who participated and came to support their teammates this past weekend.
